About this seminar:

The Rights and IP seminar is aimed at arts organisations and artists from across England who want to learn from and share experiences about the use, exploitation and development of rights models around new and archive material on digital platforms. The seminar will draw on a mixture of arts sector case studies and discussions about the opportunities and issues to take into consideration. 

The seminar will aim to:
• outline the range of different elements of IP involved in artistic content
• share insights into different approaches to securing and clearing rights
• develop delegates’ understanding of the issues and potential solutions to rights clearances
 
Speakers from the BBC, V&A, Imperial War Museums, the London Review of Books and the John Peel Archive are among those who will share their insights into rights clearances and approaches to IP. 

Who should attend?
This seminar is suitable for artists and people working within arts organisations and museums who are looking to share experiences around rights clearances within different art-form genres and across a range of digital platforms.
